Camerawork analysis

pick  three  camera shots and explain the effect they have on the audience. joker(2019) Establishing shot-because to show that the setting is meant to be in the city and you can see lots of cars which shows that it a rich city and the story might be based on a rich person who maybe has lots of money to give to poor people.   People feel happy when they see the man giving money to the poor. track/dolly-They use this camera shot that suggests that there is a police chase or a type of chase but can also show that the person is very strong so they show him very big and strong.they also use it because it's very fast and it will stay on the same pace of the car or the man who is running. And that will be entertaining for a certain age group. medium close up-is a shot that shows your waist up to your head and it's used to focus on the man who has a type of facial expression e.g. upset or excited. Every age group will loke this shot when they react to this shot because

This shot is a tilt shot and I have chosen this shot because it shows the actor  (Kevin) as a big person and this is because he is the main character in these shots.  This is an establishing shot and this is used because then you can tell where the shots are taking place and for these shots, it's taken in a high school and it's based on a bully is coming to annoy the innocent kid who is trying to finish his work.   This is a two-shot because the bully and the kid is in the shot together and this is because the bully taps on the kid's shoulder and the kid look back and gets nervous because he has never got bullied before.  This is a high angle and i chose this angle because the bully is meant to look bigger than the kid so a high angle will make the kid look short and week and the bully big and strong. This shot is a medium shot and I used this shot because you can see what's happening from far because if

Choose  THREE  aspects of mise-en-scene (e.g. costume, lighting and setting) and write a short paragraph for  each  about the  denotation  and  connotation  and what is communicated to the audience. The setting-  The setting is based on a dark environment. it was a quiet and empty hospital with flashing lights. This shows the audience the genre is horror as it sets fear in the audience's mind. one of the scene is a character called Will Byers feeling very scared because he saw a shadowy figure in front of him while coming back from Mike's house and could not find his parents inside as well.
