Introduction - Tatler Media pack 1) Look at the  Tatler Media Pack . Go to page 2: how does the editor introduce the magazine? The editor introduces the magazine with a woman in an office reading a Tatler magazine page with a glass of water on her desk as well as a picture behind her that might be part of the Tatler magazines.The word richest suggests that the people who are educated and been to higher education e.g. University would read this type of magazine.  2) Now go to page 4 of the Media Pack. Focus on the print magazine (NOT tatler.com - the website). List the key demographic details: age, gender %, ABC1 % (social class), HHI (Household Income), % of those living in London and the South East. 1) WWW:Really good knowledge of both films csps. -Able to recall film marketing method. -Understanding of reception theory. EBI:Need to read and answer questions better. do not just explain the csps theory.Use that knowledge to analyse media product. 2) Q1:1 Q2:0 ( I thought it was verbal because there was a speech bubble near her mouth). Q3:3 Q4: 1 Q5:2 Q6:4 3) Did you get any  media terminology  wrong in the assessment? Make a note of it here for future revision: I didn't understand media integration. 4) Look specifically at  question 3  - did you successfully write about both the preferred and Opposition readings? Did your answers match any in the mark scheme? I got most of the marks right (3/8) but i could've go more if i tried harder. 5) Now look at  question 4 . Write a definition of vertical integration to revise this key industry terminology. Vertical integration is when a company owns more companies. 6) Finally, look at your 20-mark essay -

1)  List  the people, places and groups represented in the poster. E.g. men, women, teenagers etc. There is a group of 7 consisting of girls and boys. they seem to be all teenagers wearing casual clothes such as tracksuits and jackets .  2) Are there any  stereotypes  you can identify? They seem like they are very aggressive just be the way they are sitting. one of the guys is holding a baseball bat which indicates they are up to cause damage.  3) What is the  preferred  reading of this poster? They look like they are good friends who have grown up together and known each other for a very long time. One of the boys is holding a baseball bat and that could indicate that he is in danger and has it for self-defence.   4) What is the  oppositional  reading of this poster? They are very bad people because they are teenagers and teenagers are very bad. The baseball bat indicates that they are going to cause damage. Independent cinema is low budget movies such as I, Daniel Blake and a Hollywood blockbuster is a movie that has a very high budget and has made a big success with the box office and others such as Avengers Endgame or even Hobbs and Shaw    2) What is I, Daniel Blake about? I, Daniel Blake is about a 59-year-old man who is fighting for his dignity and is helping a single mother Katie with 2 kids who lives in a one-bedroom flat.
