it is serif that connotates that it's very modern because of its a magazine with modern singers, models and tv show presenters etc.

3) How do the cover lines appeal to the Reveal target audience?
They show personal life issues so people buy the magazine.

4) What are the connotations of the Reveal colour scheme on this particular front cover? 
The colour scheme is yellow red pink green white blue etc and the gossip is standing out.

5) How are images used to create interest in the magazine? Find three reasons for your answer. (E.g. mise-en-scene such as props, costume and make-up, body position, facial expression). The cupcake that Kelly Brook is eating would suggest that its fast food which will make you give up doing diets.

6) What differences can you find between the use of design and typography between Tatler and Reveal? List at least three and explain the effect on audiences.
Tatler focuses on models and posh people
Reveal talks about actresses and people having personal issues in their relationships.
the typing font for Tatler is sans serif and Reveal is serif because it's more modern.

Celebrities such as Beyonce, reality tv casts and performers but are only used for gossip.

2) How are women represented on the cover of Reveal? Think about both images and cover lines here.
woman are negatively and positively presented, where there were fat-shamed when there was a quotation  'swapping cardio for carbs' 

3) How do Reveal and Tatler represent social class? (E.g. middle/upper class and working-class)
Reveal is more working-class than middle and Tatler is upper class.

4) What would be the preferred and oppositional readings to this cover of Reveal?
The preferred reading is that working-class would read this magazine and the opposional reading is the upper class will not read or pick up the magazine and will go for Tatler.

1) What aspects of British life are reflected in Reveal? How does this compare to Tatler?
Reveal talks out whats happening in celebrities lives. 2) What do the cover lines in Reveal suggest about the issues and lifestyle of Reveal readers?
The readers should listen to what Reveal advises e.g. swapping diet.
