TV Assessment Learner Response.

 1) Type up your feedback in full - WWW & EBI. You do not have to write your mark and grade if you don't want to.

WWW:

  • Attempted each question in the assessment.
  • A fairly decent approach for Q2(extended answer)-mentioned some social and cultural issue differences e.g. sexuality and race.
EBI:

  • Need to be present for every lesson so that you do not miss out on content/exam preparation 
  • Practice to analysis style questions,how to identify  the keywords in the question.


2) Write a definition for intertextuality to make sure you know this terminology.When one media text or product references another media text to engage an audience further. Intertextuality is the shaping of a text's meaning by another text.


3)How do the four aspects of Blumler and Katz's Uses and Gratifications theory apply to Class? Give specific examples from episode 4 of Class.
The personal relationships are shown in Class as you can see from Ram and April.
The mum  is shown of the surveillance uses and gratifications.
Class casts state some rhetorical questions which make the consumers think
They show a lot of conversations between two people.

4)Write a plan for question 2 in the assessment - the 20-mark essay on social and cultural contexts. Use the mark scheme to help you and aim to plan an introduction, conclusion and at least three detailed paragraphs. 
First paragraph state the differences odf the dates of when the csps were made.
Second paragraph is about the question of explaining of class
Third paragraphs explaining about doctor who and how the question is presenting the times.
Four paragraph is about the conclusion where you conclude your answer.
 
6) What topics do you need to revise for next week's PPE? List at least three topics, theories or CSPs.
Blumer and Katz uses and gratification theory and revise on the 20 mark question.
